Or Breaker.  Or breakfast for dinner.  Or something.  I am sorry I started this.

Anyway.  It’s not mac and cheese, sorry to disappoint.  I am going to make this recipe, but maybe tomorrow or Thursday.  Tonight, it was omelets:

I put mushrooms, scallions and cheddar cheese on my half.  With my favorite, roasted potatoes, and a Morningstar sausage patty.

I might have some ice cream.  You can have ice cream after Binner, right?  I think so.

Seriously, did I eat eight servings in two days?

Apparently, according to Yorgo’s.

But I couldn’t help it.  This stuff is so good.  And healthy.  Especially when eaten in mass quantities with my cucumbers.

Anyway, I ate the last of it while I was waiting for my fake bacon to cook for my BLT sandwich that I had for dinner.  I didn’t take a picture of it because we’ve all seen sandwiches before, although maybe I should have because this was a particularly good one.  I managed to squeeze half an avocado on that bad boy.  It was pretty amazing.

Then I had a teeny tiny bowl of ice cream with some chocolate chips on top:

It really was tiny this time.  Like two tablespoons or something.  Of course, I thought I was eating two tablespoons of hummus at a time too, so who the hell knows.

We went to the park and lounged around and brought these snacks:

Almonds from one of the many bags we have. I didn’t eat any but I did find a few random cashews in there.

Whole wheat pretzels. And yes, that is my shirt, but not to worry, I still had one on.

I also had an apple, which I forgot to photograph.

Then we came home and had lunch which was a fake bacon sandwich and random vegetables with hummus:

And then, we went out to dinner with a few people and had the most amazing chocolate cake ever. We don’t normally order dessert, but after recent discussions about cake, it was necessary. This cake was like eight layers or something and between us we could only eat half and despite this, I still have a cake hangover this morning.

So much pineapple

I bought the mother of all pineapples on my way home from the gym this morning.  It was enough to fill two containers.  And that’s minus the obscene amount that went into my mouth during the cutting process.

So for lunch I had a BLT with avocado again, pineapple and also a few blackberries:

It is raining again here.  What’s up with rain on Fridays?  Because it should be illegal.  Saturdays and Sundays too.  I’m okay with Monday – Thursday, I guess.  Give and take, you know.

Anyway.  Clearly I have nothing to say today so I’m going to get back to work now.

Where is the sun?

It’s a lovely day here in Brooklyn.  Rainy, windy, and about 48º.  No lie, I wore my winter coat to the gym this morning, and if I’d had time to find them, I would have definitely broken out the gloves, too.

That, combined with the fact that my neighbor is blasting something that strongly resembles polka music, makes me think that someone is out to get me. I actually don’t even know what polka music sounds like, but I’m pretty sure this is it.

Anyway, for lunch I had a BLTA, which means I added avocado:

And a salad:

I also had a few bites of last night’s leftovers because I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to eat them.  I eventually decided that I’m just going to put it off until they go bad have them for dinner tomorrow.

Oh, and I also had coffee this morning, but I think we’ve seen enough coffee around here, am I right?

Sorry, busy weekend. I had to watch Goodfellas, take Jack to the dog run so he could terrorize a Boston Terrier, and this afternoon, around three, I took a nap. Here’s last night and today.

Went to Mary Ann’s last night because it was borderline warm enough to eat outside and we decided to go ahead and shiver through.

Guacamole, which is by far my favorite part:

And a mushroom and spinach quesadilla with salad and black beans:

I couldn’t eat all of that, obviously. I had the salad, about 2/3 of the quesadilla and hardly any beans.

Then we had to go home. Either these margaritas are getting stronger or I’m getting old.

Today, on the walk home from the dog run we stopped and got the most disgusting frozen yogurt I’ve ever had. Well, I didn’t even have it, because it was too gross to eat. All icy and chemically tasting and just plain weird. So I had a Z Bar instead, but sorry, no picture – things were a little chaotic. I was distraught over the frozen yogurt and my wasted five bucks.

Lunch was a BLT with my favorite fake bacon and pretzels. I also had some plain yogurt with strawberry “spreadable fruit:”

I don’t know why my pictures are blurry. Every time I think I have this photography thing figured out, I get confused again.

Anyway, for dinner we had peanut noodles with vegetables and shrimp:

I would post the recipe, but to be honest, it wasn’t that good. Which sucks because there is a ton left over and I probably have to eat it for lunch tomorrow.

I’ll probably have an ice cream sandwich in a little while, too. GOOD NIGHT.

I got home from work and my Internet service was down. I tried to get on the neighbor’s network, which, by the way, is named “Lady Valentine.” I imagine she wears red and black lacy lingerie pretty much 24/7. (I hope she doesn’t read this and set up a password because my Internet breaks about nine times a day, and I use hers possibly more than our own. Ours is creatively named “Linksys.”) Anyway, Lady Valentine’s Internet wasn’t working either.

So I had to call up good old Time Warner so that a helpful gentleman could make me brush about two inches of dust off my desktop and climb under my desk to disconnect a bunch of hard to reach wires only to then tell me that service was down in my area.

Did you know that you can’t do anything without the Internet these days? Seriously, it took me about ten minutes to even figure out how to get the number to Time Warner without being able to look it up online. I was actually dialing my mom’s number so I could ask her to look it up for me when I realized that I have a blackberry with web access. Whew.

Anyway, on my way home I stopped by the health food store because I have an addiction to food shopping and I picked up one of these:

Soy jerky. Because, as I think we’ve established, I am a big fan of fake meat, and these things call out to me every time I go in this store. Which is about every day. The guy who works there even noticed that I got a haircut over the weekend.

These are pretty good, although I’ve never had real beef jerky so I’m not sure how it would compare. But if you like barbecue, you’d probably like these.

I also had some plain yogurt with strawberry jam and a couple little pieces of walnut:
