I got busy with work toward the end of the day, so I figured I’d just post this afternoon and tonight all at once…
For lunch I tried one of those roll-up wraps again. I don’t get why they are better than round ones? Can someone explain this to me? Because I lost half of my vegetables out the end. You can’t fold it in at the bottom like you can with a round wrap.
Anyway, I also stuffed it way too full, and I could hardly close it. I like them other than the stupid shape, though – they’re thicker than regular wraps and they taste more substantial. Or that could be in my head. Either way, they’re pretty good and also quite healthy. I used hummus, lettuce, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, mushrooms and feta cheese in this bad boy:
As you can see, it turned into a huge mess and I ate it mostly with a fork.
With it I had some yogurt with flax and brown sugar:
And a kiwi:
I also had a few grapes, but I guess I didn’t take a picture. Thought I did, sorry.
And then for a snack I had the other half of my toffee Clif bar and some broccoli:
Not together. I was still hungry after the bar so I made the broccoli. With some parmesan cheese. It might be my favorite thing that’s not a dessert.
And speaking of dessert, I’m now eating some chocolate chips:
Sorry this is short, but I’m tired!
Your post just reminded me of the kiwis I bought (and forgot about!)… I love how you incorporate chocolate into almost every day… it’s perfect!
Yum!! I love your wrap.
Haha, I ALWAYS stuff my wraps with too much filling, and have to eat it with a fork :0)
That kiwi looks like it’s seedless!!
Enjoy the rest of your evening, and get enough rest!
Broccoli w/ pamesan sounds fantastic!
I hope you get enough sleep!
Hahah-I am COMPLETELY wrap impaired. I always overstuff them and end up using a fork, or my fingers (mostly just my fingers).
What a cool idea to have brocolli as a snack!
That’s definitely my favourite way to eat broccoli too.. And I have that Clif bar flavour packed in my lunch today, I’m pretty excited about it but doubtful that it will be as good as the heavenly peanut butter chocolate chip one.

It’s an addiction.

Thanks, it was good! Messy.
VeggieGirl –
Yeah, it does. Think those were just the end pieces on top.
Cara –
It’s my favorite!
Melbell51 –
Yeah, fingers work best.

Let me know what you think, although I have to say that pb chocolate chip is better.
I’ve never had the toffee clif bar. How is it? Do you have a favorite clif flavor? My favorites have got to be the maple nut and the oatmeal walnut flavors… but I haven’t tried very many other flavors.
I loved the toffee! Anything containing nuts I kind of love. I second Chocolate Covered Vegan’s question- which one is your favourite? I’m studying for exams right now and with no time to cook I’ve been able to convince myself that Clif bars are definitely suitable for lunch and dinner as well as snacks…So I see a lot of them in my near future… Any flavours you reccommend avoiding? I’ve only tried the carrot cake (just ok for me) chocolate pb (amazing) and toffee (also awesome). And this post is getting to be too long for encompassing just one topic. Ok, I’m done taking up space.

It’s good, I like it. Still like the peanut butter chocolate chip the best. Are you talking about the oatmeal walnut raisin? Because that one is pretty awesome, too. Honestly I’m just getting into Clif bars and haven’t tried that many. I think just those three. I did have the brownie when these bars first came out like four years ago and thought it was gross, but haven’t tried it since. I like the Z bars, the chocolate chip one is good. Are they vegan??? I had no idea.

Haven’t had the carrot cake, but now I probably won’t. It was one of the ones I wanted to try. Also I wanted to try the blueberry crisp but someone said it wasn’t good. I think they pretty much do amazing things with peanut butter and I’ll stick to those flavors!
Yup, oatmeal walnut raisin :o).
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE z bars! (They say they may contain trace dairy, but I’m not a militant vegan… plus, the company says the label has to say that because their choc. chips share equipment with dairy choc. chips… so yeah, z bars are vegan as far as I’m concerned– woo hoo!)
