I’m totally cheating here because this is not really a recipe, but I didn’t know this, so maybe some of you didn’t know it either. You can throw just about any nut in the food processor and make your own nut butter. Sometimes you need to add a little oil (1 – 2 tablespoons, max) and I like to add salt, too. Just let it process for a while (I’m talking 10 minutes or longer) until it gets smooth. If you like chunky, throw in a few extra nuts toward the end.
