I got really busy this morning, too busy to stop for a formal lunch (you know, because I usually break out the white linens), so I’ve had to snack my way through the day to stay alive. I kind of enjoyed it, I might take this approach more often. It really lends itself to someone who likes to be eating at all times.
I started with this cantaloupe that I cut up this morning before breakfast:
This is that massive cantaloupe that my dad gave me. I haven’t even started to make a dent, but I’m getting there. Trying to pace myself.
Then I had this Kashi bar:
I thought I liked these, but I think I’ve changed my mind. This is the Chocolate Peanut flavor, and it had that weird metallic artifical taste I don’t like.
Then, a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter and an apple:
It was a lot of peanut butter. I finished the jar. However, I think a good portion of it must have gotten on the camera when I took this picture, because I just looked over and Jack was licking its screen quite furiously. I am glad someone likes that camera.

Hooray for cantaloupe, apples, and LOTS of delicious peanut butter
And there goes Chris’ head…
Apples and pb sounds like such delicious snack – I should start replacing my morning cheezits with that.
Oh! I have apples! I can have apples and peanut butter this weekend. Yum.
I agree, those particular Kashi bars are very artificial tasting. Disappointing for Kashi.
Okay, so, inspired by you… I did it! I tried cottage cheese! AND….. ::drumroll::
I loved it! I had the 2% normal kind (not whipped) with some granola (the kashi berry granola… pretty good, i hadn’t had it before) and a cut up peach and some blackberries. Delish! I liked that it was kind of creamy and not bitter like plain yogurt. Kind of like healthy cheesecake. Hooray!

Lots for sure.

I know! I felt kind of bad about eating him.

I am cracking up about cheezits being your morning snack.

I hope you enjoyed it.

I know! It’s annoying. I kind of still like the chocolate pretzel one.

I’m so glad! I really kind of love it now.
