Today is drrraaaaaaaagggging for me. I seriously feel like I’ve been working for at least twenty hours.
So, I decided to take a little break and give Jack a much-needed bath. He has mysteriously had maple syrup on his head ever since we had pancakes over the weekend. Hmmm…
Anyway, it was a bit of a work out. He’s not exactly a fan of the bathtub, despite the fact that I’m very nice and gentle and we use organic shampoo that smells pretty and I sing the Rubber Puppy song to him the whole time. Ungrateful.
So I rewarded myself after with, um, more chocolate chips. In yogurt, to make them healthy:

Mmm! You should’ve added peanut butter ‘for protein’!
“Rubber Puppy,” haha!
What a perfect reward!
arielle- i love your blog! lena signed me up for blog lines and told me some she thought i would like- mostly food and crafting sites. most of them i don’t have time for. but yours i find very entertaining and readable! i like so many of your simple food ideas. i’ve never thought of chocolate chips in yogurt! i sometimes eat youurt with a sprinkling of sugar and milk.(like cerial) i think they do this in scandanavia. it’s delicious. xo, patty
I have a HARD times washing my dogs… REALLY! It’s worse than washing cars.
I am all for chocolate chips in anything. Yogurt does make them a healthy snack at least.
Oh, and I don’t even bother to wash my dogs. If they stink I just avoid them until they rub off the smell by rolling around in the dirt.
I think that would be the only way to make yogurt appetizing…I’ll have to try it!
Ah dogs in the bath tub
Frank use to be soo bad! And they can be incredibly strong. Since I give him a bath about 2 x per week (he has allergies and needs his wrinkles cleaned often), he has gotten much better…he mostly just takes it now. Although he does love to eat the towel
Have a good weekend
Love your attitude. I would do the same thing.

Damn. Next time.
VG –
It’s his favorite song.
Nicole –
I know. Well, ice cream might have been preferable.
Patty –
Thanks for reading my blog!! Chocolate chips in plain yogurt tastes like the cheesecake that my mom always made. Well, almost. It’s good!
Andy –
Luckily I don’t have a car.
Run –
I think we would be trouble together.
Meg –
If you don’t like yogurt, I’m not sure you’d like this…
Erica –
Wrinkles!! I love wrinkles. It’s the one thing Jack is missing.
Rose –
Thanks!
Ahh make sure to only use doggy shampoo! It gives the pups skin irritations i you use human shiz bc they need more moisturizing stuff than what we use!
And just for the record… I’m grateful for your Rubber-Puppy song
I’ve been reading your blog for quite some time now (found it through Chris’s) and I think that it is high time I told you that we should be friends.
Here are my reasons:
I make homemade cheese and I think that you would dig it (can give you the recipe if you would like – super easy to make a farmers cheese).
I, too, am from WV (near Beckley).
That’s all I can think of now.
As new friends I think you should do me a favor. Please post a video of you and Jack singing the Rubber Puppy song.
