We went to West Virginia for the weekend to visit my parents and let Jack pretend that he’s a country dog:
He thinks he’ll probably be ready for the Olympics in 2012.
Car snacks on the way there on Friday:
And then a Panera Bread salad:
Can you call something a salad if it consists mostly of bread and cheese? I’m not so sure. This was kind of gross. I’m not used to fast food I guess. It was probably the first time I’ve been through a drive thru in a good two or three years. It was quickly followed by the second time – a stop at Dairy Queen for a peanut butter cup blizzard. No picture, sorry, but it was awesome as usual.
The rest of the weekend, I’d say 90% of my snacking consisted of fruit. Some of it was in this form:
And other times it was in this form:
They were amazing. Amazing.
As was this on the way home yesterday:
Chris surprised me with this at a gas station, because it’s my favorite candy bar. It was rather romantic, but not nearly as romantic as Friday night, when he asked me to marry him.
Yikes! I’m engaged.
