Yikes, sorry! Big day yesterday. I was a little backed-up with work in the afternoon and then last night I got a new cell phone to replace the blackberry that Jack attempted to eat last week. So I’ve been busy setting it up and trying to find a ring tone that doesn’t make me want to throw it across the room and playing no less than 45 games of Jawbreaker.
Anyway, food. We’re here for food. I meant to post this yesterday morning, but Monday night I had a Skinny Cow chocolate ice cream cone after the pizza:
Go ahead and times this by two because I had another one last night. These things are pretty awesome. Unfortunately, they only come four to a box, which is kind of sad.
Earlier yesterday afternoon, I finished up the cantaloupe:
And also had some chocolate:
Probably not the best snack, but whatever. It’s what I wanted and I was in a hurry.
We had sandwiches for dinner because I was knee deep in instruction manuals and the only thing Chris really knows how to make is his “special red sauce.” As in, jarred tomato sauce and pasta. We don’t have any tomato sauce, which is quite limiting when it comes to this recipe.

Chris’s special red sauce sounds pretty similar to my boyfriend’s trademark dish. I still have yet to try the skinny cow cones, I’m trying to wait for them to go on sale – it’s just not happening.
I hear you on the special red sauce + significant other. My boyfriend makes some pretty good meals, but I’m sure he’d eat spaghetti and red sauce from a jar a lot more often if he was living alone.
My Special Red Sauce was my ticket to The Food Network, just so you know.
I’m going to have a show where I teach people how to make the sauce and then talk about sports and beer.
Then I’m going to find Ina Garten and punch her in the face for laughing after every single one of her lame jokes.
CHRIS STOLE MY RECIPE!!!!
Bastard.
Isn’t it sad that good things some times come in small packages? They should come in this huge packages where you could eat them all of your life and there would still be some.
BTW, I’m not on drugs or anything.
I totally agree with the Skinny Cow cones! They are my favorite “healthy” dessert. I especially love the little bit of chocolate u get at the bottom.
EBF –
Not happening. They are absurdly expensive.

Chris would eat veggie burgers and morningstar farms nuggets every night.
Chris –
If you made it to the FN before me, I would be furious.
Kristen –
I thought it was an original. He fooled me!
Andy –
That was kind of hilarious.

The chocolate at the bottom is the best part! I get so sad when there isn’t a lot. Sometimes they are kind of stingy.
I bet your boyfriend could handle the other kitchen staple of men: the forman grill.
