We were going to have tacos for dinner, but the shells Chris bought have partially hydrogenated vegetable oil in them and then they ended up being stale anyway. Clearly, it was God’s way of sparing us from a death by trans fats.
So we had taco salads:
Why yes, I do eat out of Gladware.
Excuse me. I had to go handle a twist tie situation. The situation being that Jack had about ten of them in his mouth. I didn’t even know we owned twist ties, but leave it to him to find them. One time he threw up like four rubber bands.
And now that I have your mouth watering, I can tell you that the salad had lettuce, black beans, brown rice, a couple of random chick peas, guacamole, salsa, tomatoes and a little cheese.
Afterwards I enjoyed the last ice cream sandwich:
It was the vanilla kind. I like the chocolate ones better, but when it comes to ice cream, I take what I can get.
Afternoon snack was strawberries and grapes:
I ate waaay more grapes than this. Like a bushel or something. I don’t know if grapes are counted by the bushel, but the point is, I ate a lot while I was making dinner to keep from putting my face in the bowl of guacamole.

You should try the skinny cow cookies & cream sandwiches – YUM!
hahaha… I do the same thing with grapes. Except it’s to keep my face out of the ice cream tub in the freezer. I usually do it after dinner. But then sometimes I end up dipping them in tons of PB, so it’s not a very good preventative measure.
mmmm skinny cow = good stuff…
grapes are meant to be eaten in large quantities
i do the same thing… and proud of it!
one time my dog threw up, like, 15 pounds of chocolate covered pecans. i win.
Nothing wrong with eating out of the gladware. I had packed a salad for lunch today and left it at home so when I got home I ate it for dinner…right out of the gladware container.
Skinny cow ANYTHING is sooo darn good!
transfats? I can resist
the mooo of the skinny cow? never
I haven’t even had breakfast yet but now I’m seriously craving a no-taco taco salad like yours. mmmm.
I’ve never tried a skinny cow ice cream sandwich before.
Yeah, the chocolate is WAY better. I love skinny cows. People always say to me “You CAN have real ice cream”
I don’t think they get it… dumb people.
I love the PB Skinny cows. Strawberry is good too.
That Taco salad looks yummers.
haha, you crack me up!
my cat, however, has pretty much thrown up on every inch of floorspace in my house. and that doesn’t count surfaces like beds and tables. yeah.
One time my dog ate my hair tie. He didn’t throw it up….it came out the other end…..and that was not pretty. Let’s just say he required ” assistance.”
Sick.
I totally eat grapes by the bushel or whatever you call it too!
Chandra –
WHAT? I had no idea. I am on it.
Magpie –
Luckily we don’t have an ice cream tub because we aren’t trustworthy enough to stick to the portion size. And I’ve never thought of grapes and peanut butter, but it sounds good.
Lindz -
I’m not ashamed! I’ll be through this pound in two days, tops.
Betsy –
You totally win. Also, chocolate? Is he okay?
Brittany –
I would do that too.
Richelle –
This is true. I’ve been meaning to try the dippers.
MizFit –
I can’t either.
Kristie –
It is easily transferable to breakfast.
Holly –
Yeah. It’s kind of better. But Ben & Jerry’s tops all. Oatmeal cookie. Mmmm.
Aimee –
I haven’t had PB or strawberry. I don’t like strawberry ice cream but I be the PB is good.
Carla –
Thanks. Luckily Jack doesn’t throw up that often.
Allison –
Oh god. That’s gross. I’m sorry for you.
Run –
Easily.
yeah, it was a long time ago. for some reason chocolate doesn’t affect him. or it just causes him to throw up. alot.
mmm. strawberries and grapes. one of my favorite summer foods: sliced stawberries+sliced green grapes+a bit of time= soo yummy!
