I made the chickpea cutlets for dinner. They are so good! And it’s fun to play with the mixture because it’s all gluey and stuff from the vital wheat gluten. I was totally into it.
Anyway, we had them with some roasted potatoes:
Kind of a carby meal. Should have probably swapped the potatoes for some sort of vegetable, but oh well.
No snacks earlier…never got hungry. Like I said, I’ve had a hangover stomach ache all day and haven’t really been hungry. I’ll be more interesting tomorrow, promise.

Chickpea cutlets!! Fabulous.
Hope you feel better!
I have been wanting to try chickpea cutlets. I just wrote the down the ingredients so I can make them sometime this week. Can’t wait!
Chickpea cutlets for the win!!
Dang, now I need to make some.
sorry bout your stomach ache
I keep meaning to make those darn things.
The week beginnings are always the worst for those… stomach aches.
where do you buy vital wheat gluten? One time I decided to buy the chickpeas in the bag instead of the can. I’ve never used them to make anything, because whenever I want chickpeas for something, I go and buy a can of them. Because soaking them and all that is hard and requires planning ahead.

I’m good! Thanks.

Really, you should. It is much easier than it seems.

I might make a bunch and freeze them like veggie burgers.

I got it at a health food store. It’s bob’s red mill brand. I definitely use canned chickpeas.
