Jack went to his first restaurant today – here he is with Chris and I at Sushi D:

Jack managed to make it through the meal without a scene, but he did cause a bit of a stir at the farmer’s market when a lady accused him of biting her chihuahua. She said that her stupid wimpy dog had blood on him, but after some prodding from Chris, admitted that it was more likely to be strawberry jelly.
For lunch, I had miso soup:

An avocado/shrimp roll and a California roll:
I actually only ate about half of the sushi and Chris ate the rest; I got a little excited during the ordering process.
Then, we went and got coffee and my mom got this amazing peanut butter and chocolate crunch cake:
We all had a few bites, and I didn’t want Jack to feel left out so I bought him this little treat at the pet store:
I like to call it a “pupcake.” I’m clever like that.

I was practically raised on miso soup – love the stuff!! And I’m keen on seaweed salad as well – yum! And hey, even that pupcake (yes, cute name, haha) looks good, haha!
I usually overorder sushi too. I always want 2 or 3 but they’re so filling!
Oh, that looks so good (the sushi, not the pup cake). Although, that is the cutest dog cookie I’ve ever seen!
Mmmm sushi. The sushi out here isn’t “safe” and I don’t want to resort to supermarket sushi, so I have to wait another month.
I just had dinner and realized I didn’t buy anything sweet/dessert wise and became really sad, until I realized that I bought some chocolate chips- Couch Cublicle style.
All is well in the world, once again.

My dog always gets accused of things he didn’t do when we’re at the dogpark. I hate how people bring their stupid little purse dogs i there and get upset when other dogs go near them.

Why is sushi so filling?
I don’t understand why I can eat 5lbs of stupid french fries and only like 2 or 3 California rolls and I’m stuffed.
Shouldn’t the stuff that’s good for you be the stuff you can eat more of?

ha, we live in the same neighborhood. i like that sushi place, though im pretty sure they screen my calls (picky eater ha)
