That’s what I had for a snack this afternoon. Pure fiber. No, it isn’t, but it might as well have been. I had hummus (aka beans), broccoli, cucumber, and a pear:
I’m a little nervous, because for dinner we’re having stir fry with more broccoli, bok choy, tofu, and brown rice. I’m not sure if my stomach can handle it! I’m going to try to make up a new sauce recipe…if it turns out good, I’ll post it!
Thanks for the camera tips! Now I just have to learn how to take a decent picture…

Ooh. Raw broccoli must taste so good with hummus. I just love the taste of raw broccoli.
Your post would make William Shatner proud.
haha really? im not a big fan of raw broccoli…raw cauliflower is okay, but im not sure about raw broccoli…cucumbers with hummus is a winner though!
Man-I love raw broccoli. I used to eat the stems when my mom made it.
Camera tip-try a couple of test shots without the flash. But use good natural light. See how they look!
Two votes for raw broccoli, one against! Emma, I think you should try it again. Maybe it’s an acquired taste. You definitely have to dip it in something. In fact, it’s my favorite part of those veggie trays you get for parties.
Thanks for the tip, Betsy. I am usually better without the flash, which is why most of my pictures are too dark. I may be hopeless…
